Devin Desktop can read your fivebar stats over MCP, and answer questions about them.

Ask it about your sites in your own words, such as why traffic jumped on Tuesday, and it answers from your figures, following fivebar’s rules about what they mean. Working in your site’s code, it can also add fivebar to it and check it’s working. Connecting is adding fivebar’s address, signing in and choosing Allow, with no key to copy.

Add fivebar

Run this, with the Devin command line:

devin mcp add -s user fivebar https://fiveb.ar/api/mcp

Or add it to ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json, which on Windows is %APPDATA%\devin\mcp_config.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "fivebar": {
      "url": "https://fiveb.ar/api/mcp",
      "transport": "http"
    }
  }
}

Sign in

In Devin Desktop, fivebar shows Needs auth: choose Authenticate. On the command line, run devin mcp login fivebar.

fivebar opens in your browser. Sign in if you need to, check that the page names Devin Desktop, and choose Allow. Devin Desktop can then read the stats of every site on your Sites page, and changes nothing of yours unless you also tick the box to let it change settings.

Try it

Ask Devin Desktop about your sites in your own words, such as:

Removing it

Delete fivebar from mcp_config.json.

To stop Devin Desktop reading your stats from fivebar’s side, disconnect it in Settings.

Good to know

Windsurf became Devin Desktop on 2 June 2026. Its Devin Local agent reads the file above, and so did the Cascade agent before it.
